Dr. Veejay Deshpandey is a Consulting Dental Surgeon and Implantologist practicing in Thane/Mumbai, India for last 41 years. He has practiced in the Middle East for 8 years in the past. After completing his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Mumbai University, he completed his Post Doctorate in Oral Implantology – D.U. (Oral Implantology) from Lille University in France. He has been awarded Fellowship of American Academy of Implant Dentistry in USA. He is the first Indian to have this honour for which he was felicitated by the then Governor of Maharashtra Mr. P.C.Alexander.

Graduated from the prestigious Government Dental College, Mumbai in 1977 and thereafter 36 years of clinical practice in India and the Middle East. Has been trained extensively in Advanced Maxillo-mandibular reconstructive Implantology with a post-doctorate qualification form D.U, Lille2, France and working as a Consultant Implantologist since then. Has been a Fellow of American Academy of Implant Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Misch Implant Institute, Indian Society of Oral Implantologists and more such associations. Specialized in diagnosing and treating full mouth rehabilitation cases, complicated procedures like ramus frame implants, sinus grafting, bone grafting, bone reconstruction and implants, cosmetic corrections and smile designing. Trained in treating patients with medical problems and in specialized cases across all age groups. An International Speaker and has conducted many presentations nationally and internationally. With a passion for teaching, has conducted extensive hands-on courses and trained more than 400 dental surgeons in the field of Implant Dentistry. Was honored with the prestigious Vasantrao Naik Award, from the then Governor of Maharashtra, Mr. P.C Alexander, for outstanding contribution in the field of Implant Dentistry.
