Dr. Makarand is a dynamic personality, with Masters degree in Prosthodontics with 2nd ranking in the Maharashtra University and over 5 years experience in the field of dentistry.
Specialized and Certified in Maxillofacial Prosthodontics & Implantology so as to cater to all kinds of patients keeping in mind their social, professional backgrounds and needs and in maintaining the aesthetics throughout the treatment procedures. His specialization pertains to a replacement of missing natural teeth and rehabilitation of mutilated natural teeth and associated structures to maintain normal function and to improve appearance.

Clinical Practice for 7 years as a General Dentist and 2 years as a Prosthodontist in Thane. Currently working as a Consultant Prosthodontist for several private dental clinics in Mumbai. Sr.Lecturer at Dr. G.D.Pol Foundation’s Yerala Medical Trust Dental College and Hospital, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai from 17/9/2014 to 31/3/2015.
Worked as an Associate Dentist with Dr. Veejay Deshpandey B.D.S, D.U since 2009.
